What if something is lost or broken during my move?
We work hard to prevent any damaged or lost items. However, sometimes, accidents happen. So every Allied Express shipment comes with our Extra Care Protection, the industry’s most comprehensive coverage. How long will it take for my things to be delivered?
Allied Express shipments are transported on regularly scheduled trucking routes between major cities, allowing us to deliver shipments within 7-10 days to most markets. With many other moving companies, smaller loads are given low priority, and delivery times can take up to a month or longer.
How far in advance should I call to reserve my move?
Typically, it is best to contact Allied Express 1 to 2 weeks prior to your desired move date. However, if you are moving during our peak period from May to August, you should reserve your move as far in advance as possible as trucks fill up quickly during this time period.
Does Allied Express come to my home to provide an estimate?
For your convenience, our professional estimators can conduct your estimate over the phone, so you can get moving!
Do I load and unload the truck myself?
No! Allied Express is a full-service "Don't-Do-It-Yourself" moving solution. Our service includes a 2–3 member crew of professional movers who will load your belongings onto the truck, and unload your belongings at your destination. When your shipment is on the road, one of our highly trained drivers will be behind the wheel. You won't need to lift a finger on moving day, and your friends are off the hook!
What does "guaranteed delivery date" mean?
We will give you a guaranteed delivery date at the time you book your move. In the unlikely event your Allied Express delivery does not arrive on the day promised, you will receive $75 for each day your shipment is late.
Are packing services and materials included?
Allied Express offers full-service packing at an additional cost. If you choose that option, packing materials are included in your estimate. However, if you choose to pack yourself, you will also need to purchase your own packing materials. The good news is, Allied Express can help even if you choose to pack yourself. Your Allied representative can provide tips to help you pack your belongings safely, and may even be able to offer previously-used moving boxes at no charge.
Does Allied Express offer local moving services?
